Visitors with a companion card are entitled to free entry when accompanying their caree, on presentation of their card at the ticket desk.

Physical Access
Accessible parking spaces are available on level P2 of the carpark, with lift access to the museum entrance (the carpark clearance height is 2150mm).Limited accessible parking is available for bus groups with people who have particular access requirements. Please enquire through the bookings office to make a reservation.Accessible toilets are available on all levels of the museum.All exhibition galleries and public spaces have lift and/or ramp access.Selected computer stations in the Discovery Centre are wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair seating is available in the IMAX Theatre on a first-come basis, or spaces can be reserved by calling the bookings line.
Assistive Listening
Hearing loops are fitted at a selected counter at the ticket desk, in the Age Theatre and at selected computer stations in the Discovery Centre.
Auslan
Auslan-interpreted sessions of school holiday programs are offered during each holiday period. These sessions are advertised on the museum’s website.
Captioning
ALL video material in the exhibition galleries is captioned.
Audio Description
Audio description for programs, tours and lectures can be arranged on request, with at least two weeks notice required. Please contact the Senior Programs Officer on 987-52726 (Japan)
Access for People Who are Blind/Low Vision
Service animals are welcome in the museum.All toilets have Braille indicators.
